What is high frequency welding ?

[ Back ]

To weld two PVC fabrics, it is initially necessary to heat the zone of union while applying enough pressure at the same time.

It is then necessary to keep the pressure until the welded union cools down.

The technique of high frequencywelding consists in welding two pieces of canvas by causing a molecularreaction which allows the heating of the two matters thanks to a high radiofield frequency.

The superimposed layers are placed between an electrode (press) and the table out of marble or steel).

The high frequency then produces the necessary heat to melt the materials and form a welding when it has cooled down.

There does not exist another system of welding capable to obtain such a high quality and solidity of welding as well as a perfect sealing.
