Founded in Belgium in 1947 by Jean Levooz, the company manufactures tarpaulins for farmers and certain fairground trades.

At the outset, it was an exclusively family-run business.

Later, the manufacture of Levooz products evolved more towards fairground trades, marquee making, lorry tarpaulins and shop awnings.

The development of tourism towards the end of the 50s led to the emergence of a new market: caravans and their accessories, in particular caravan awnings. The manufacture of caravan and mobile home awnings therefore took on a new dimension.

In 1969, Jean-Marie Levooz naturally took over from his father.

Over the years, Levooz began to specialise more and more in the field of camping and caravanning, devoting all its research and expertise to the manufacture of made-to-measure caravan awnings (its main activity), and the production of arbours, marquees and tarpaulins of all kinds.

Today, our research and studies take into account the requirements of our customers and the market in general for increasingly luxurious and hard-wearing caravan awnings (in particular, the choice of round or square frames that can remain permanently installed), the development of a quality plastic-coated PVC polyester awning with a frame made of square anodised aluminium profiles, and a made-to-measure windscreen adapted to all weather conditions.

All these new products are designed and manufactured with the same care as our flagship caravan awnings.

Having made a name for itself in neighbouring countries (France, Luxembourg, Holland, Germany.....), Levooz is now expanding into Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Spain and the UK.

Since the early 2000s, Levooz has also been involved in the manufacture of house pergolas and conservatories.
